My Mall Limassol is the largest shopping mall in southern Cyprus, in the Germasogeia area 8 km north-east of central Limassol. Opened in 2008 and expanded since, it covers around 50,000 m² with more than 130 stores, a substantial food court, a multiplex cinema, an Olympic-size ice-skating rink (the only one in Cyprus), a bowling alley, and various smaller family entertainment options. It is one of the few all-weather family destinations on the south coast and a particularly useful option on a hot summer afternoon or rare rainy winter day.
The retail mix is the standard international-mall combination — large anchor stores including Marks & Spencer, Debenhams (now closed in many countries but still present here), Public Greek-electronics chain, Carrefour supermarket, plus the international fashion brands (Zara, H&M, Bershka, Pull & Bear, Mango). Local Cypriot brands occupy a smaller portion. Restaurants and the food court cover the standard chains plus several Cypriot-specific options including a halloumi-grill kiosk that does an excellent halloumi-and-tomato wrap.
The entertainment options are what distinguish My Mall from a standard shopping centre. The ice rink offers public skating sessions and equipment hire (around 8-10 EUR per session); the bowling alley has 12 lanes; the cinema multiplex shows current releases (often in English with Greek subtitles); and there is a small children's play area with mini-golf and arcade games.
Insider tips. Saturday is busiest; mid-week afternoons are calmer. The food court is genuinely useful for travelling families with picky eaters. The ice rink is a particularly welcome activity in summer afternoons when outdoor temperatures are punishing. Free parking. The mall has free WiFi.
Combinations. The mall is itself a half-day if combined with cinema or skating. Pair with the Germasogeia Dam (10 minutes inland, for the contrast — pine forest and reservoir), with Limassol old town and marina (15 minutes' drive), or with a beach afternoon at Dasoudi Beach. The all-weather family option for Limassol-area visitors.
Bring. Wallet/card, comfortable shoes for the long mall walks, layered clothing (the mall is heavily air-conditioned, the ice rink is genuinely cold). When. Year-round. Open daily roughly 09:00-21:00 (longer in summer). The all-weather rainy-day or hot-summer-afternoon option for visitors based on the south coast.
